    Settling in

    Hey!
We have been in our new place for a week now, how time flies....  Troy has been on the graveyard shift and so we have barely seen each other aside from having dinner together.  Next week is worse as we wont get a chance to talk at all, but we knew this awhen we signed up to the lease :(
We have unpacked almost every box and the place felt like home from day one.  I have been out battling it with the truely overgrown ivy in the garden and am so far winning, but suffered an injury to my foot in the process.  I was biten by a foreign insect that resembled a v small black leech, I had to go to the docs as my foot had then become infected.  Now I am on antibotics but can thankfully walk without serious pain :)  SO yep, gardening can cause casulties but I was out there again last night, contrary to Troy's wishes, determined that the forest will not get the better of me.  The outcome?  A vertually ivy free fence and a happy Fi.  Our place will look gorgeous, just just us time.
Regarding a house warming, I fully intend to have one to celebrate all the fabulous things in my and Troy's life as of late and will post up the celebration date.
So this weekend I'll be having my darling dad over for Sunday to help out with a rotary line and then settle his feet up on the sofa with a beer and watch the racing- ahhhh.  What more could a girl want?!!  Fabulous, I cant wait for the banter of me seeing Pedrosa and Stoner right on up there (you will Danny, I'm telling ya!) and Rossi doing a fab job but somehow not making it.  I would enjoy a good challenge from them.  Sorry to see and hear all the probs Rossi has encountered these past two years and maybe before, I can't remember, but I wish him the best anyway.
OK guys, I am going back to work in a mo as we wont have the net in our house til next week, funny how we do have sky tho ay.... Men (tsk) lol.
Take care guys and all the best!

    Countdown

Only 3 days until we move into our new property on Sat, can't wait.
Was looking over some documents sent to me from the Estate Agents, they don't half try to screw you over??!  Exit fees, non refundable holding fees, charges for contacting with them... the list just does not end.  I'm telling ya, I am going to have a word with this estate agent if she thinks we are paying all of that rubbish!
I haven't even checked out the Lease yet- oh but I will, and I will be having words to compromise as what I have seen is not on.
Researched utilities and an starting to get somewhere, but we will see, this girlie is not a lawyer for nothing!

Hows everything with you guys?  I hope you are all good, take care XX

    I got the job!!

I am delighted to announce that as of 1pm this afternoon I was offered and accepted a Property Paralegal job with a company located near Mayfair.
I had the interview on Monday just gone.  There is a beautiful square gardens infront of the buildings where you can have your own time and space to go to your own world in your head.  Beautiful buildings and when entering the buildings a snazzy entrance and a very modern look.  Personally speaking I liked the interviewers, who would be the people that I would work with on a daily basis, we were all on the same wavelength.  I didn't believe that I would get to work in such a lovely place with a nice group of people but the call did come much to my suprise and now I have the privilege to go back as an employee.  I really hope that we all get on again and we all enjoy our time there.  I am psyched as you can probably gather as I am writing a blog about it!
So thanks to those who had faith in me to get this far and thanks to those who chose to work with me, I promise I wont let you down.
Troy and I are still looking for places to rent in the se london area, i'm viewing one fri eve and both of us sat midday so let see how these ones turn out.  With both our incomes and our rent budget of £700 a month we should be able to save for a house fairly quickly.  Smart.

I hope everyone else has good news.  Believe me I have worked for a fair few years, have over £20k of debt just to get this far but dont give up hope in getting the job you want and being able to have a place to call your own.
    Good luck

    Mixture of tricks

Watch Rossi get knocked off his perch and the young Aussie move on up.  Good on ya Stoner.  There is no denying that Rossi is a world class racer and was the best of his time.  No one can dispute that; his style is indeed flawless and dedication was unmoved.  In my view the seriously depressing and frustrating outcome of last year's result, whether due to Yamaha as well as Michelin seriously dented and wavered his dedication to the Motorcycle sport.  To my knowledge he is signed up to MotoGP for 2008 but I think we all know that his interest has wandered onto the mud caked racing sport that is car racing off track.
Personally I am waiting for the arrival of Toseland from WSB to MotoGP.  Now he will certainly pack a punch and I would love to see these guys race it out.
On a note of motor racing, RIP to Ollie Bridewell at just 21 years old.  My best wishes and condolences to your brother, family and friends.  I may not have known you but I hope that you rest in peace.
    All the best guys
